Channel emulation and repeatable stressed input receiver testing for C2M (Chip to Module) and C2C (Chip to Chip) is even more important to assure interoperability at higher data rates. Wilder Technologies 224G (112 Gbaud PAM4) ISI channel board provides a selection of 12 loss channels to provide Inter-Symbol Interference for these testing applications. The selection includes the channel that when added to the loss of Wilder’s 1.6T OSFP and QSFP-DD Module Compliance Board fixtures conform to the requirements for the high loss module stressed receiver input test for the IEEE 802.3dj specification. Higher loss channels allow emulation of long C2C channels typical for DAC (Direct Attached Copper) passive cable applications. Features to enhance usability include the ability to mount the board vertical or horizontal in the frame for use with short interconnect cables, as well as adequate clearance around the RF Connectors to allow access for the torque wrench. The unique loss profile data for each fixture is included.
