Product Marketing Manager

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for outbound marketing activities as well as planning for current and emerging products. You will craft the go to market messaging for these products, as well as serve as the primary conduit for inbound customer needs. A clear understanding of market trends in electrical and optical interconnects used in high performance communications I/O systems is key to this role. You will also be responsible for business development activities, working with customers to introduce products and to establish future product plans and product roadmaps.

Location - Portland/ Vancouver, WA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Wilder's products in the market
  • Market intelligence and competitive analysis of Wilder's products
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum product feature grooming and backlog management
  • Manage product roadmaps and prioritization of engineering programs
  • Product launch -plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Sales enablement -communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team
  • Demand generation -develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for Wilder's products
  • Generate internal financial targets for product lines and work with the team to achieve them

Requirements:

  • 1O+ years of product marketing experience with at least 5 years' experience in a field facing role
  • Intimate working knowledge of current and emerging IEEE and OIF-CEI communications standards and their interconnect requirements
  • Familiar with advanced optical modulation techniques used to generate laboratory grade optical impairments
  • Working knowledge of tunable laser systems
  • Working knowledge of BERT and high performance scopes
  • Ability to work with customers with early prototype systems
  • Bachelor's in engineering required, MSEE and MBA are a plus
  • Willing to travel 40% and familiarity with US and Asian communications markets
