Wilder Technologies At ECOC 2024
Vancouver, WA Wilder Technologies is proud to join with other leading companies to participate in a series of interoperability demonstrations hosted by the Optical Internetworking Forum (OIF) at the ECOC Exposition in Frankfurt Germany September 23-25. The demonstrations, shown in booth #B83, will showcase functional electrical interfaces, including the OIF Common Electrical I/O (CEI) 224G Very Short Reach (VSR) host ASIC to pluggable optical module interface, CEI 224G Medium and Long Reach interfaces, and CEI 112G Linear chip-to-module interface. Wilder Technologies is providing Host and Module Compliance Board fixtures to interoperate between optical modules, passive copper cables, and active cables to SerDes evaluation boards providing the coupling to the test instrumentation. All demonstrations support the Implementation Agreements being developed by the OIF to facilitate next-generation interconnects for data centers and AI computing accelerator clusters. Although the IA standards documents are still being finalized, these demonstrations showcase devices and equipment performing exceptionally well at the new, higher data rates.
