Wilder Technologies is the first vendor to introduce the complete set of Compliance Test Fixtures for characterization measurements and conformance testing to the next generation 1.6 Tb/s Standards under development in IEEE 802.3dj, OIF CEI-224G, and Fibre Channel PI-9. The full offering includes Host Compliance Boards and Module Compliance Boards in both OSFP and QSFP-DD form factors, along with an ISI channel fixture offering a selection of differential loss traces for channel emulation and stressed receiver input stress calibration. The fixture set provides best in class performance beyond 60 GHz to support lane rates up to 58 GBaud PAM4 signaling used in 1.6T applications. Channel emulation and repeatable stressed input receiver testing for C2M (Chip to Module) and C2C (Chip to Chip) is even more important to assure interoperability at higher data rates. Wilder Technologies 224G (112 Gbaud PAM4) ISI channel board provides a selection of 12 loss channels to provide Inter-Symbol Interference for these testing applications. The selection includes the channel that when added to the loss of Wilder’s 1.6T OSFP and QSFP-DD Module Compliance Board fixtures conform to the requirements for the high loss module stressed receiver input test for the IEEE 802.3dj specification. Higher loss channels allow emulation of long C2C channels typical for DAC (Direct Attached Copper) passive cable applications. Features to enhance usability include the ability to mount the board vertical or horizontal in the frame for use with short interconnect cables, as well as adequate clearance around the RF Connectors to allow access for the torque wrench. The unique loss profile data for each fixture is included.

The Ethernet IEEE 25GBASE-T/40GBASE-T RJ-45 (8P8C) TPA Plug Test Adapter (ETH-TPA-RJ45CAT8-P) exceeds testing hosts to the requirements of ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 8 and IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ standards. This next-generation cabling offers four times the bandwidth of standard Category 6A cabling and is fully backward compatible with Category 6A cabling, including RJ45 connectivity. Construction of the test adapter follows the EIA/TIA-568 standard with regard to pin/pair assignments and color coding, specifically incorporating the T568A configuration.
